I am an NP in the US and I plan to move to BC soon. I was wondering what the roles of an NP in BC are? Do they have a similar scope of practice to the US? Can I apply directly as an NP or do I need to undergo training to be an NP in BC?

Hi there! To answer your question, NP’s in Canada are currently helping to increase the accessibility to health care services, from what the Ministry of Health has stated. In regards to NP roles here in BC compared to the roles of NP’s in the US I think you should check out the CRNBC website, the portion about NP’s.
